Kimberley Summer Theatre’s 2009 stage show production is "Fool's Gold" written by Roxanne Harper with music by Terry Macham.
The action of the musical comedy takes place in the Saloon Bar of the Gold Nugget Hotel in the fictitious mining town of Fortune in the crown colony of British Columbia. 
The year is 1890. The show contains music, dance, humour, romance, skulduggery and a search for hidden treasure.
“Fool's Gold ” opens on July 7th and runs from Tuesday to Saturday until August 15th.
Tickets will go on sale in mid-June and will be available from Black Bear Books and Video in Kimberley, Lotus Books in Cranbrook and at the door, pre-show.
Ticket prices are $20.00 for adults and $14.00 for children twelve years of age and under.
